Isaac Cordero is an Of Counsel Attorney with the Firm whose practice primarily consists of commercial law, contract disputes, business litigation, employment discrimination, personal injury, and criminal defense.
After graduating from The University of Virginia School of Law, Isaac began his legal career at a boutique civil firm in his hometown of El Paso, Texas. While there, he focused on federal employment discrimination cases. Isaac sharpened his litigation skills by joining the El Paso District Attorney’s Office, where he managed a large caseload, tried dozens of jury trials, negotiated thousands of plea deals, and developed a reputation as a skilled courtroom practitioner. In 2015, Isaac founded his own law practice, representing clients in a broad spectrum of legal matters. Isaac continued his own practice when he moved to North Carolina in 2018, with his wife and two dogs.
Isaac’s commitment to making a positive impact extends beyond the courtroom. When he’s not advocating for clients, he’s dedicating his time to volunteering. Whether it’s helping to rehabilitate housing, distributing care packages to our unhoused neighbors, or spearheading donation drives, Isaac is passionate about community service.
Isaac enjoys hiking, golfing, star gazing, and a good novel when he isn’t advocating in the office or in the courthouse. Eager to begin this new chapter in the Hickory legal community, he and his wife are also expecting a new member of their family, a baby girl, next Spring.
