Elizabeth A. Escobar is an attorney licensed to practice law in North Carolina and previously licensed in Hawaii, with a professional background spanning government service and family law litigation.

A native of a small town in Georgia, Elizabeth has lived in multiple states due to military-related moves and spent nearly a decade in Hawaii, where she began and developed much of her legal career. This experience provides her with a broad perspective and a strong understanding of the legal challenges faced by individuals and families impacted by military service and frequent relocation.

Elizabeth earned her Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law in 2012 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Justice Administration, cum laude, from Hawaii Pacific University in 2007.

Prior to joining the firm, Elizabeth served as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of Hawaii, representing the State in family court proceedings and administrative appeals. She handled matters from inception through resolution, including paternity actions, interstate and international disputes, and cases involving active-duty military personnel. In addition, she advised state agencies on compliance with state and federal law, analyzed policy and legislative issues, and developed internal procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Earlier in her career, Elizabeth practiced as an Associate Family Law Attorney in Honolulu, Hawaii. Prior to entering private practice, she served as a staff attorney at a nonprofit organization, where she assisted underserved individuals and families. She also volunteered as a pro bono attorney for low-income individuals and acted as a volunteer mediator, reflecting her longstanding commitment to access to justice.

Outside of her legal practice, Elizabeth enjoys spending time outdoors and can often be found at the beach, hiking, or fishing, interests shaped by her years living in Hawaii.
